Anna Eleanor Nolin, Age 94, passed away on January 27, 2011 in Kalispell, Eleanor was born on March 17, 1916 in Williams, MN. to William And Etta (Carlson) Mason. Eleanor was raised on the family farm in Northern Minnesota. On June 15, 1935 she married Alfred R. Nolin. During their 46 year marriage, they raised four sons, Rodney, Reginald, Robert and Reed. The family lived in International Falls and Orr, Minnesota when not on the West Coast during WWII. Eleanor had a beauty shop in her home while al had his barber shop in town at both locations. She loved teaching Sunday School at the Orr Chapel, attending Bible studies and supporting missionaries with various needed items she could make. She loved all sports and was an avid reader. She touched many lives with her sincerity and love. Eleanor lived in Kalispell, Montana with her son Rod and family after the death of her husband in 1981.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her young son, Reed, her husband, Alfred and her 5 brothers. She is Survived by her sons, Rodney Nolin and wife Connie, of Kalispell, MT, Reginald Nolin and wife Toni of Menomonie, WI, and Robert Nolin and wife Monica Of Billings, MT, 10 grandchildren and 17 Great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Eleanor will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday January 31, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Bigfork, 6933 MT hwy 35.
