Barbara Leverenz

Barbara B. Leverenz, 92, passed away on February 14, 2022, with her three daughters at her bedside. Barbara grew up in Wilmette, Illinois, and graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder.

In 1950, she married her husband, Jack, who preceded her in death. They raised their daughters, Barbara, Jane and Wendy, in Wilmette. Because of their love of the West, in 2000, they moved to Whitefish, Montana, and spent many happy years as members of the community.

The family has planned a private memorial service. The family extends their heartfelt Appreciation to The Springs at Whitefish and to Encompass Health Care for their skill and many kindnesses shown to Barbara. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the North Valley Food Bank, 251 Flathead Avenue, Whitefish, Montana 59937. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.
