Barbara Raze

Barbara June Reis Raze age 65, passed away January 26 at Heritage Place with her husband and sisters at her side.

She was born June 5, 1952 in Denison, Iowa to Wally Reis and Katie Reis Wilson.

In 1955 she moved with her family to Whitefish MT and grew up on the family farm on Dillon Road.  Her favorite pet was her donkey Jacky, they truly were the best of pals.

She attended primary school and graduated from Whitefish High School in 1970

She was active in 4-H.  Her great joy was going to the Salvation Army thrift store and others.  She had many friends there and they loved to see her. On August 21, 1976 she married Dennis Raze.  They lived in Kalispell where she worked as a caretaker, housekeeping, crossing guard at local schools, Taco Johns and as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. Barbara was preceded in death by her Father, Mother and Brother Billy. Survivors include her husband Dennis and his family, sisters Linda (Bill) Hoyt, Becky Reed, sister-in-law Betty (Billy) Reis, brother-in-law Jerry Reed, thirteen nieces and nephews.  Special and long time friends Donna Zabel and Jacquie Cuffe.

She will be dearly missed by us all, but now she has her wings.
