Beth Lou Sine, age 91, passed away on Sunday July 21, 2019 at the Health Center at Kalispell Regional Healthcare.
Beth was born in Canton, Ohio on April 2, 1928 to Clarence and Lela Rose Navorska and was raised in Fairview and Olmsted Falls, Ohio. She married the love of her life Alger Sine on August 1948 in Olmsted Falls, Ohio at her parents home. They had five children and Beth was a active mother in all her children’s activities. She was president of the PTA, band supporter, football mom, and a community home health aide. Beth was a woman of faith and very active with Berea Baptist Church in Ohio, teaching junior church with her husband to hundreds and of young people during the course of her life in Ohio.
In 1972, with two children still remaining at home, she made the decision to enroll in college and pursue a degree in nursing. She graduated from the nursing program at Ohio State, Mansfield Branch, in 1974. Following graduation and sitting for her state boards, she secured a job at Ashland Hospital where she worked in the ER before finding her passion in the OB Nursery. She went on to get her neonatal certification and finished her working career in the Nursery at Ashland Hospital. Upon retiring, she and her love traveled to Alaska from Ohio in an RV, taking the grandchildren and spending summers there with her youngest son, daughter-in-law, and their children who lived in Alaska. She volunteered to work in the hospital in Alaska as needed which she loved. They enjoyed their trips immensely and built beautiful memories.
In 1998 she and Alger moved to Montana to live with her daughter in Kalispell. She remained at her daughters home in Kalispell until the time of her death.
Beth was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Alger, a sister Becky Manges, son-in-law Frank Keller, and brother-in-law Allan Guenther. She was survived by her sons Robert Sine and wife Debra of Texas, Richard Sine and wife Diane of Montana, James Sine and wife Laura of Montana, daughters April (Sine) Rambo and husband Del of Montana, Peggy (Sine) Keller of Montana, along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
