Betty Motts passed away peacefully at Lakeview Healthcare Community in Bigfork Montana November 10, 2017. Joi was by her side.  She was born Betty Lucille Burns March 30, 1932 in Jefferson City, Missouri. She joined the Women’s Army Corp in 1952. She was proud to be a veteran.


She is survived by sisters Katherine Yeager and Lavern Martin; son Richard Motts and wife Dana; daughter Joi Gratny and husband Geof; grandchildren Nichole Motts, Samantha Motts, Timothy Gratny and Christopher Gratigny and wife Melissa; four great-grand daughters.

She is preceded in death by parents Thomas and Leola Burns; siblings Thomas, Rosella, Tilly; daughter Patti Motts.

Betty was loved by everyone who knew her. She kept her sense of wit to the end.
