Bill Lynch, born July 2, 1937, in Kalispell, and raised in Swan Lake, Condon and Kalispell passed away on Aug. 4, 2013, at his home in Kalispell.
Bill was married to Phyllis Managhan on Oct. 30, 1955, in Kalispell. He spent his early education in Swan Valley, attending Wineglass grade school, and continued in Kalispell and then graduated from Flathead County High School.
Bill was a mechanic, woods worker, farmer and shoe repairman. He was very involved as a devoted member, and at one time governor, of the Moose Lodge.
He was a well-known gunsmith who enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird watching, working with horses, and spending time up at his cabin on Island Lake.
Bill is survived by his wife, Phyllis Lynch; son Mitch and his wife Brenda; son Jody and his wife Nicole; granddaughter Megan and her husband Caleb Igo; granddaughter Emily Lynch; granddaughter Jessica Krantz; brother Jack and his wife Beth; sister Pat and her husband Glenn Koski; sister Maxine Domgard; and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Mildred, and his son Russell.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8, at the Moose Lodge at 2158 U.S. 2 E. to celebrate the life of Bill Lynch.
