Bonita Williams

April 10, 1945 — December 29, 2015

Bonnie “passed into the Lord’s arms” on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015, at about 6 p.m. at the Brendan House with her sons, Wade, Frank and Bill by her side. Frank’s wife Randi, brother Frank, and sister Darlene were also there to comfort her. She was at peace within her soul, knowing that nothing could be done to treat the leukemia.

Bonita was born on April 10,1945, in Worland, Wyoming, to Frank and Loretta (Dinger) Williams, joining sister Darlene and brother Frank. Her early years were spent at the Grass Range, Geary, N Bar school, then Kaycee, Wyoming, before moving to Kalispell in 1955.

In 1960, Bonnie moved back to Lewistown and married Marv Long in 1962. They had two sons together, Wade in 1963, and Frank in 1964. In 1975, William “Bill” Stillman was born to Bonnie and Daniel Stillman. Her three sons were the light of her life and they loved her completely.

Bonnie embraced life with many adventures, from skydiving to raising and riding some amazing horses, to exploring many yard sales and finding those treasures. She loved to hunt, fish, listen to country music, and watching John Wayne movies or any old Westerns. She loved her family and she loved the Lord.

Her varied jobs included working at TCI Television, owning and operating two gun shops, St. John’s Gun Ranch and Ammunition Specialties, cooking at various restaurants, and being a homemaker.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Loretta (Dinger) Williams; and a granddaughter, Rebecca Marcinek Long.

She is survived by her three sons, Wade Long of Kalispell, Frank Long and Randi of Kalispell, and Bill Stillman of Salt Lake City; brother, Frank Williams, of Lewistown; sister, Darlene Jump-Rauthe, of Kalispell; grandchildren, Schon Long, and Shelbi and Lucas Cummings; great-grandchildren, Adalyn Lilly and Emmet Carl Cummings; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews that she adored.

Her significant others included Marvin Long, Daniel Stillman, Paul St. John, Art Gilroy and Harvey Smith.

We thank her family members and friends who came to visit during her hospitalization. She will be well remembered by all who shared her life.
