Brittany Ann Richmond, 29, passed away on Dec. 24, 2016, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July, 27 1987, in Kalispell.
Brittany grew up in Kalispell where she attended West Valley School. She graduated from Flathead High School in 2005. After high school she attended college at Montana State University and University of Montana. While studying pre-nursing at UM she worked as a certified nursing assistant, a job she enjoyed and excelled at. She recently became a licensed insurance agent and was excited to start her career in this field.
Brittany had great love for family, friends, and nature. These were the most important things in her life. She was a kind, gentle soul. She cared so much about others and was always there for her friends and family. Brittany’s life philosophy was “As long as we have memories, yesterday remains. As long as we have hope, tomorrow awaits. As long as we have love, today is beautiful.”
Brittany is survived by her parents Kevin and Marla Richmond and Rich and Teresa Yarde; her sister Ashley, and brothers Austin and Justin Richmond. She is also survived by her nephew Jaxon Burr (Ashley); and grandparents Carol Richmond and Laurel Wehr. She leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles and cousins that were so important in her life.
Brittany was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Harold Richmond, James Wehr and Dick Yarde; grandmother, Gail Yarde; great-grandmother, Florence Ladd; and her cousin, Ely Gelinas.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 7 at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. A reception will follow at the Eagles Lodge.
