Buck Foster “went home to be with the Lord” on Aug. 8, 2014.
He was born in Joplin, Mont., at the neighbors’ farm on the way to the hospital on Oct. 23,1932.
“Dad had many accomplishments; however, he wanted to say, ‘If you knew him, you would know what they were.’ I must brag a little, though, Dad had a pilot’s license at age 16. He also owned and operated Glacier Log Homes; he has homes built all over the world.”
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marlene, of 60 years; son, Jim; daughter, Teri; grandson, Jake; and great-grandson, Elijah.
He is survived by his brother, Rolph Foster of Joplin, Dorothy Burnham of Chester, and Karen Scalese, formerly of Sunburst, his daughter, Lori Wells of Kalispell, and Sherry Westphal of Kila, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will have a private burial at Glacier Memorial Gardens and a celebration of life at a later date at the Hilltop Hitching Post in Marion.
