Carla “CJ” Jeanne Taylor (Stowe), 58, of Kalispell, Montana, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2021 with her children by her side after a 19 year long battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Carla entered this world on May 9, 1963 in Chillum, MD. She is the loving daughter of Jeanne and William Roy. Carla graduated high school in Berkeley Springs, WV where she grew up on a farm and developed a deep love for animals, riding horses and hard work. Continuing education at Shepherd University in West Virginia, Carla switched majors back and forth from music to fashion merchandising and finished with associates degrees in multiple art fields. Carla spent much of her 20’s living in Florida while pursuing many career paths; she was a musician, model and clothing designer who saw many of her passions come to life.
Carla met the father of her children after relocating to Montana and thereafter moved to Alaska to begin her family, becoming a full time parent to her two beloved children between Homer, AK and Kalispell, MT.
Carla had an infectious smile, extraordinary sense of humor and an effervescent personality despite her struggles with Multiple Sclerosis.
Carla was a loving mother, sister, daughter and adoring friend to many. Carla is deeply missed by her children Ryan and McKensey Dahlgren; sister Kippi, her husband Tony and daughter Alexis; brother Charles; uncle Charles “Chuck”, his wife Rania and daughter Piper; as well as the dear friends she considered family.
