Carole Borgan

December 5, 1937 — January 25, 2016

Carole June (Wessler) Borgen, 78, passed away Monday, Jan. 25, 2016, at Heritage Place from natural causes.

She was born Dec. 5, 1937, in Glasgow and was raised in Nashua. She graduated from Nashua High School in 1955.

She married her husband of 17 years, Norbet James Borgen, on Aug. 14, 1955, in Glasgow.

She was an administrative assistant at Glasgow Air Force Base from December 1971 to July 1977 and at Blacktail Radar Station from June 1975 to July 1977. She was a clerk at a Wonder Bread store from August of 1977 until June of 1989.

She was active in Trinity Lutheran Church. She loved crocheting, working with ceramics, plants and had several animals.

She was preceded in death by her parents, August “Tex” and Evelyn Wessler; a baby brother; one sister, Wilma Tunison, and stepfather Henry Erickson.

She is survived by her children, Debra of Kalispell, Roger and Chris of Colorado, Jeff and Joy of Kalispell, Scott of Kalispell and Brad and Dawn of Pennsylvania; her brothers and sister, Patricia and Jerry Asay of Bozeman, Jane Ann and Tobey Glasoe of Nashua and Richard and Gloria Wessler of Nashua; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held on May 20 at Glasgow Memorial Gardens in Glasgow. Cremation took place at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to Montana School for the Deaf and Blind in Helena.
