Celia Goodman

December 28, 2014 — December 11, 2014

Celia “Cee” Margaret Goodman passed away peacefully with her family by her side on December 11, 2014 at 11:45 am, in Kalispell, Montana.

Celia was born December 28, 1960 in Los Angeles, California. She spent her childhood traveling and living both domestically and abroad before her family settled in Idyllwild, California. In 1999, Cee and her husband moved to Lakeside, Montana where they fell in love with the community and decided to settle permanently. Cee was loved and cherished by all who knew her for her joyful spirit and ability to make everyone she met feel loved and welcomed in her life. Cee was well known in her local community and by friends and family near and far for the incredible artwork she created through the years. Her work can be seen on the walls of local businesses as well as in the homes of many lucky friends and family members. Cee was incredibly blessed to have met and spent 26 exciting years with her soul mate, best friend and husband Jack Goodman. Of all her accomplishments, of which there are many, she was most proud of being a devoted wife, mother, step-mother and grandmother. She loved her family whether by blood or by choice with great passion and for this she will be most missed.

Celia is survived by a very large family including her cherished husband and best friend, Jack, mother-in-law Jeri, eldest daughter, Krista and her husband Charles and their two daughters Chloe and Luca, youngest daughter, Carley and her husband Nick and their daughter Sofia, step-son, Russell and his son Jaxden, grand-daughter, Kylie, brother, Malcom and sister, Kristie. She also leaves behind a large extended family including in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, god children and two adored pugs. She was preceded in death by her father, Wallace, mother, Evelyn, father-in-law Joe, step-daughter, Jessie, bother-in-law Kurt, sister-in-law Janice, niece, Michelle, and nephew, Jeremy. Finally, she leaves behind a community of friends more like family too large to name, by which she will be immeasurably missed.

A celebration of Celia’s life is taking place at Lakeside Community Chapel on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at 6:00pm.
