Charles Sager passed away Thursday October 29, 2020 at North Valley Hospital, after being diagnosed with cancer the day before. He was 68 years old.
Charlie was born December 30th, 1951 to Dorothy and Chuck Jones. He spent much of his childhood growing up in and around Washington, California and Oregon and eventually settled into the valley and made Hungry Horse his home. At the time of his death, Charlie had been a resident of Whitefish Care and Rehab for eight years following a debilitating stroke. While he was often cantankerous, he loved his family, his
home and the people that cared for him. Prior to his stoke, Charlie enjoyed spending time in the woods, camping, huckleberry picking, and had a huge heart for animals and the pets he had in his life.
Charlie leaves behind his brother Robert Ballenger, sister Darlene Lowery, brother David Sager, sister Beverly Wiese, sister Lisa Lytle, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand- nephews. Charlie was loved by many people and he will be missed. It provides comfort knowing that he is now resting in peace. A gathering to celebrate Charlie’s life will be planned for next Spring and a date will be announced at a later time.
