Clark L. Spain is with his Savior as of October 22, 2017. He was born to Clarkson and Marian Spain of Bozeman, Montana on August 16, 1930. Clark attended schools in Belgrade and Bozeman and later farmed and ranched in the same areas.
Clark married Shirlee Mecklenburg in 1951 and they soon had four children. The family moved away from his beloved Gallatin County Valley to pursue a career in the Federal Land Bank in the Missoula area in the mid 60's. In the early 70's he was transferred to Kalispell where he continued to travel and appraise farms and ranches all over western Montana. Eventually Clark transitioned to residential and commercial real estate and owned and operated Valley Realty of Kalispell. His next opCemetery; a job he loved.
Work defined Clark because he loved and lived to be busy and make things look good. He loved people and animals. He enjoyed teasing his friends and family and often had a twinkle in his eye due to some of his efforts in that department.
Clark is survived by three daughters; Janet, Karen, and Trude'. Daughter in law Debbie, 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Many thanks and fond blessings to the staff and friends at Edgewood Vista that loved and cared for Clark this past year.
Services for Clark will be at 2 PM on Friday, October 27 at Central Bible Church in Kalispell, MT. A private urn burial will take place at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
Memorials in Clark's name can be given to Humane Society, Home Options Hospice or charity of your choice.
