Cora Beth Guay, 90, passed away Oct. 17, 2020, at Hidden Meadows in Columbia Falls.
Cora was born on July 29, 1930, in Glasgow, Montana, to Lawrence and Elizabeth Grainger. She was the first of four kids.
Cora attended school and graduated high school in Glasgow and went on to one year of nursing school in Great Falls. When her family moved to Kalispell in 1949, Cora followed them and that is when she met the love of her life, Frank Guay. They were married on June 25, 1950, and had two children, Jean Marie and Lawrence Joseph. Over the years, Cora worked as a medical assistant for many local doctors until she retired in 2006.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank in May of 2015, her parents, and a brother Howard Grainger.
Cora is survived by her sister, Donna Jean Went and husband Roger, and one brother Harold (Farley) Grainger and wife Jean, her two children Jean Kelly and husband Terry, and Larry Guay and Rhonda, six grandkids and nine great grandkids.
Cora resided at Hidden Meadows Memory Care where she left behind some awesome caregivers and many friends.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 29, at Glacier Memorial Gardens .
