Corinne Ross

Carie Ross, 66, passed away of natural causes at her residence in Kalispell on September 24, 2020.

Carie was born in Butte MT on December 2, 1953.  She was then adopted, named after her grandmother and spent her entire childhood with her sister in Kalispell on Airport Road.

She graduated Flathead High School in 1972.  In her employment years, she worked at the Kalispell Police Department and then onto Columbia Falls where she was a police officer, which was her happiest and proudest achievement; to Helena where she worked in retail and then for the Department of Corrections for several years.

She moved back to Kalispell where she remained until her death.

Carie took great enjoyment in her craft making and most recently in tending to her garden and flowers.  Her beloved cat, Alley, was not far from her side.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Georgianna Ross (2013) and her father,  Dr. Chet Ross (2005).

Carie is survived by her sister, Mary Ross-Goodnough and brother-in-law, Norm Goodnough and numerous cousins.

She will rest in peace at the Resurrection Cemetery in Helena next to her mother.

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
