Daniel Hollister Ellison age 55, of Bigfork, MT passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2023. Daniel was born on June 10, 1967 in Cannon Falls, MN to George and Lee Anne (Robertson) Ellison.
He attended School in Cannon Falls, MN and studied at the University of Minnesota Duluth earing his Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science.
After College he served in the U.S Air Force from 1989 to 1991 as a Communication – Computer Systems Programming Specialist. After being honorably discharged, he began his work as a Computer Programmer and Database Architect and was employed by Optum Insight/United Health Care at the time of his death.
In 2005 he married Kimberly Leeseberg in Banff, Alberta, Canada; they celebrated 17 years. Daniel was a Mason and enjoyed traveling, scuba diving, was an avid Minnesota Wild Hockey fan, and loved spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Logan Ellison and nephew Ethan Heidlebaugh. He is survived by his wife Kimberly of Bigfork; children Dylan (Elizabeth) Ellison of Fort Rucker, AL, Matthew (Amanda) Boline of Juneau, AK, Megan (Jake) Clausnitzer of Lakeville, MN and Brianna (Haiti) Joseph of San Pedro, CA; siblings Chris (Claudia) Ellison, David (Alison) Kronmiller, Jim (Gail) Kronmiller, Susan (Babe) Kronmiller, and Steve Kronmiller; grandchildren Sidney, Amelia, Harrison, Axel and Lee-Bel; and 28 nieces and nephews.
