Dan Reichardt, 73, passed away at his home in rural Kalispell on July 13, 2014.
Dan was born March 26, 1941, in St. Louis County, Mo., to Charles and Venita (Kuchler) Reichardt. Dan attended Francis Howell High School gradutating in 1959. Dan enterened the Army and served from 1963-1965. Dan was a carpenter, owning and operating his own company Daniel E. Reichardt Construction from 1966- 2012 where he was always striving to give his customers a good deal. Dan enjoyed hunting, fishing, his cow and calf operation, humming birds , his red heeler Tessie, and above all his children and grandchildren.
He is preceeded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Peggy Reichardt, daughter Stephanie and her husband Brian Holtmeyer "who is like our very own son" of Bigfork, Charmin and Rick Clark of Tuscumbia, Mo., Kristein Reichardt of Louisburg, Kan., seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Grandson Caleb Reichardt was reared by his grandparents. brothers, Mikael, Stanley and David.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
