David Charles Crowe, 73, passed away, Feb. 28, 2011, in Kalispell of natural causes.
He was born Jan. 3, 1938, in Gainsboro, Va.
In 1972, he married Berna Jean Smith.
David served honorably in the military and then worked for Plum Creek for over 30 years. David enjoyed fishing, camping and four-wheeling. He also enjoyed the companionship of his dog Bo.
Bernie and Dave enjoyed socializing and traveling together during their retirement years. Dave also enjoyed feeding the many birds and deer that visited his yard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Fred Crowe in 1998, and Janet Crowe in 2004; and wife, Bernie, in 2009.
He is survived by his sons and daughters, Terri Frey, Tami Randall and Wilard, Tim Knopfle and Lori, Chuck Crowe and Stephanie, and Terena Crowe, all of Kalispell; grandson, John Knopfle, of Columbia Falls; and many other grandchildren; siblings, Mary and Ron Bond of Columbia Falls, Sarah Jane and Richard Grigg of Portsmouth, Va., Rebecca and Rob Obernolte of Fairfield, Wash., and Paul Crowe and Steve Austin of Spokane. He also leaves behind his dog Bo.
