Diana Buckley

Diana May Buckley age 51, passed away on Tuesday December 24, 2019 after a lengthy Illness, at her home in Whitefish with her family by her side. Diane was born on April 14, 1968 in Puyallup, WA. To Duane and Arlee (Payne) Shipman. Diana attended School in Helena and Graduated from Helena High School.

Diana served in The U.S Navy. She married James Buckley in 1992 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho they celebrate 27 years together. Diana had many work experiences including many positions with the State of Montana, most recently she work at the Iron Horse Golf Club. Diana loved spending time with her family, her three boys and Jim were the world to her, She especially found joy in fishing Stillwater Lake, whether by boat or from the bank, or through the Ice. Diana could be found with a fish on the end of her line and enjoying the peace being outdoors brought her.

Diana was preceded in death by her father Duane Shipman, she is survived by her husband James Buckley, Children Duane James Buckley of Kalispell, James Buckley of Missoula , Nathan Buckley of Whitefish. And Step – Daughter Jami Buckley of Billings, mother Arlee Shipman of Big Sky, MT,  brothers Dan Shipman of Helena, and Dustin (Kasia) Shipman of Big Sky, Mt. There will be a Celebration of Life on December 29, 2019 at the Stillwater Bar and Grill 6699 Hwy 93. The family ask donation be made to Wings Regional Cancer Support Center. P.O..
