Donald Vance Peterson passed from this earth on the 22d day of April, 2017. He died from heart and arterial disease. His passing was peaceful. Donald was born February 22, 1951 in Neosho , Missouri to Leonard M. Peterson and Cletys M. (Boehning) Peterson. His family moved to Montana in 1954 and he graduated from Flathead County High School Class of 1969. He was a sexton at Glacier Memorial Gardens until his retirement and a member of a Masonic Lodge in Kalispell , MT.
Don filled his days with small acts of kindness and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Cletys, by his niece Angela Kay Lea and his great nephew David Lea. He is survived by his sisters Kathleen Kay (Charles) Vernon and Carol Ann (Bill) Lea, his nieces Kimberley Kay Vernon, Meredith Marie Lea, Alexandria Lynn Vernon, Alexis Louise Lea, Isabel Ann Lea, Blake Holly Matthews and nephews Charles “Nick” Ellis Vernon Jr., Christopher Erin (Windy) Vernon, Ross Albert (Jessica) Lea, Random Harrison Vernon, Incarnadine Fenn Vernon, Clayton Ross Lea and Jack Hunter Yori.
