Dustin Lee Amdahl, 28, passed away on Saturday, May 11, 2013, at his home in Kalispell.
Dustin was born on Dec. 28, 1984, in Whitefish to Gary and Deborah (Hutchens) Amdahl. He attended schools in the Flathead Valley, graduating from Flathead High School.
After high school, he worked at Nickel Charlie's, Jagz, Outback, Quiznos, Taco Johns, Lawn Care services and as a local DJ.
He enjoyed fishing, boating, and was an avid outdoorsman. He also enjoyed hunting, snowboarding, skateboarding, basketball and football, and had a love for music, writing, mixing, rapping, singing, recording and performing in various local clubs.
Dustin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gladys Hutchens, and his uncle, Ben Barkley.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Deb Amdahl, of Kalispell; a brother, Morgan Amdahl, of Kalispell; grandparents, Jerry Hutchens of Kalispell, Ann Hutchens of West Union, Iowa, and Verla Amdahl of West Union; other relatives, Dennis "Denny" and Jean Amdahl of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Elden "Sarge" and Donna Marvel of Kalispell, Judy Barkley Kalispell; numerous cousins, friends and family.
A celebration of Dustin's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 18, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Tim Bartholomew officiating.
