Edwin Forrest Covell, age 85, passed away June 8, 2015 due to an accident at his Whitefish residence. Edwin was born December 13, 1929 in Pittsburg, NH., where he grew up. Edwin had been a logger for many years in the Flathead Valley. On December 5, 1988 he married Betty Stevens in Casper, Wyoming. They were married for 26 years. Edwin loved hunting, fishing, and camping. He attended the Whitefish congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Edwin was preceded in death by a daughter Dianne Gravlin and his first Wife Violet (Vi) Covell in 1986. Edwin is survived by his wife Betty Covell, sons Bob and Bill Shanks, and daughter Bonnie Long; 4 brothers, 2 sisters and their families residing in New Hampshire, and 9 grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday June 13, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Whitefish Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
