Elsie Violet Persicke age 92 passed away May 29 th 2016
Born in Tottenham, London England September 29th 1923 to William and Ida Kilroy.
Married in London England in 1944 to Dan Persicke, until Dan’s passing in 1967
Elsie had an adventurous life span of 92 years.
The Great Adventure started during WWll when she met Dan.
She had many enlightening wartime stories.
Following the war she came to USA on a Ship with 400 other war brides.
Landing in New York, then traveling across the county by train and ending up in Whitefish MT.
From London to a logging camp in NW Montana. What an adventure.
They raised their family of 4 children a block away from Whitefish City beach.
Widowed at a young age of 44 she went from house wife to working in a lumber mill and learning to drive was only the beginning of a life as a single mom.
She ended her working carrier as a house keeper at the Whitefish Hospital.
Survived by son Reg Persicke, Seeley Lake MT. and daughter Judy Rieker of Hayden Lake ID.
Also 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by husband Dan, sons Dennis, Don and grandson Eric Persicke.
