Erhardt “Curly” Weidner 82, passed away in Kalispell, Montana on January 21, 2017. Curly has fought Cancer since 2002.
Curly was born on December 9, 1934 to Jacob and Linda Weidner in Beulah, North Dakota. Curly was raised on the family farm, leaving school in the 9 th grade to help the family. At the age of 18 he went to work at The Garrison Dam working for them for 2 years, and then he moved to Scobey, Montana, he then moved to Kalispell and ran the Gulf Station. Moving on to work for City Service for the next 44 years as a mechanic, and as an Electrician and gas pump repair for Northwest Fuel as well. He was the Security Supervisor for the Outlaw Inn for 33 years.
Curly married Sharon Amundson on January 9, 1982, he and Sharon were able to have a 6 week honeymoon traveling to different parts of the country and spending time in Cancun. Curly was a member of the NRA, Lions Club, he loved to hunt and work. Curly had many friends all over especially thru the Church at Creston that was his joy after retirement. Curly is survived by his wife Sharon, brothers Hap Weidner, Eldor Weidner, mother in law, Isabell Doughtery, Step-Son Brett Cislo, Step- daughter Dea Cislo Block, whom he always dearly loved and considered his children: Step-Grandchildren: Bryane Cislo, Shayla Block, Chris Block, Shawn Block, Josh Cislo, and Jenna Johnson, 9 Step Great-Grandchildren, all of whom he loved as his family and never considered them as step children or step-grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be held at 9:00 am – 10:00 am, Friday, January 27, 2017 followed by a 10:00 am funeral service at the Church at Creston. A reception will follow services and a graveside committal will be held at Glacier Memorial Gardens. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.
