Frank C. Lopez, 71, passed away Monday, Nov. 28, 2016, at his home on Flathead Lake.
Frank was born Aug. 14, 1945, in Phoenix to Manual and Teresa Lopez.
Frank Loved to race cars, bikes, and three-wheelers, four-wheelers and whatever would go fast. He had lots of trophies from his younger days.
He worked hard and was one of the best heavy equipment operators there was. He worked for Herb and Greg Sandon, other contractors, and lastly for Cody Sandon; another profession was welding. He could build anything. Frank was a perfectionist which you could see by his home on Flathead Lake.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Manual and Teresa Lopez; brothers, Ricky and Manual Lopez; sisters, Roselie and Susie; and wife, Vickie Jo Smith Lopez.
He is survived by Justin R. of Bigfork, Jessie R., Jacque R. and Janice R., all of Phoenix; Mark (Frankie) Smith of Kalispell; many nephews and nieces; 11 grandchildren, and lots of good friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Dec. 10 at the Tall Pine Lounge and Liquor, 811 Highway 35, Bigfork.
