Hans Leonard Nielsen, age 68, passed away on Sunday July 17, 2011 at the Whitefish Care and Rehabilitation in Whitefish. Hans was born May 24, 1943 in Havre, Montana to Hendrick and Mildred (Zellmer) Ehlers. Hans was raised in Hogeland and Columbia Falls and attended schools in Columbia Falls. Hans enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf. Hans was preceded in death by his wife Willie and father Hendrick. He is survived by his mother Mildred Nielsen; son Duane Nielsen; daughter Bobbie Rae Nielsen; siblings Anna and Lester Black of Federal Way, WA; Corliss and Bill Carr of Anderson, CA; Gloria and Art Schroeder of Kalispell; John and Diane Nielsen of Columbia Falls; grandchild Kyle Nielsen and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
