On the morning of Sunday, September 4th, 2016, the earth lost an angel and Heaven gained one. Hazel Motichka went to be with her Lord, and many friends and relatives who proceeded her in death during her 102 years on this earth.
Hazel was born to Clarence and Ruth Johnson on August 1st, 1914 in Turner Montana. She was the oldest of eight brothers and sisters, all of whom proceeded her in death. She married Neil Sheridan on June 17th 1935 and they had one child, Lorraine Dempsey. Neil was killed in a logging accident in August of 1960, and Hazel remarried several years later. She married Joseph Motichka who passed away in 1999.
Hazel is survived by her daughter Lorraine, three grandchild Dorrie and husband Mike Stone, Debra and husband Greg Johnson and Bill Dempsey and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her
