Jack Hill

April 4, 1931 — May 28, 2013

Jack Hill, 82, passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, May 28, 2013, in Bigfork.

Jack was born to Herman and Ester Hill April 4, 1931, in Seattle.

He was raised in Grand Coulee, Wash., and in 1941, the family moved to Bremerton, where Jack attended and graduated high school.

Jack worked for Siler's Auto Parts for 16 years and Stenerson's U-Drive on boats and engines for 14 years. He was owner of Bolton's Saw Shop, from which he retired in 1984, when he and Darlene moved to Montana with their son, Daniel. Jack continued to work on countless engines and boats. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents; and stepsons, Ernest Campbell and Andrew Campbell.

Jack is survived by his wife, Darlene; Daniel of Montana; Brian and Laura of Washington; Katherine and Dave of Washington; James and Dana of Virginia; Michael and Regina of Washington; Steven and Theresa of Washington; and numerous relatives.

Cremation has taken place and the family is being cared for by Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory.

A memorial service is planned for 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 6 at the Little Brown Church in Bigfork.
