Jim Boetticher passed away May 14, 2024 at the Mt Veterans home in Columbia Falls. Jim was
born and raised in Jackson MT. He graduated from Beaverhead County High School. Jim
joined the US Navy in 1964, and retired as a Chief Petty Officer in 1984. After retirement Jim
settled back in Jackson where he was a water commissioner for 27 years.
Jim married Jacque Brissette in 1965. Together they had 2 sons Andy and Blair. In 2008 Jim
married Joanie Hullett, they enjoyed spending time with family, road trips and cribbage. Some
of there best memories were when Joanie joined Jim on the 4 wheeler and saw the beauty and
wildlife of the Big Hole valley.
Jim is survived by his wife Joanie, sons Blair (Brenda) Boetticher Fairfield Mt, Andy ( Michelle)
Boetticher Billings Mt, Bobbie (Caleb) Ford Apopka, Fl, Katy (Kurt) Adkins Kalispell, Mt.
Grandchildren Jacob Boetticher, Jared Boetticher, Sarah Boetticher, Riley Ford, Zac (Dusty)
Adkins, Great Granddaughter Leslie Adkins, and very special friends Tink and Julie Krause
Helena Mt.
