James Duval

James Joseph Duval, age 73 of Kalispell, passed away November 5, 2021 at Logan Health Medical Center. James was born August 12, 1948 to Leon and Anita (Savageau) Duval in Shelby, MT and later raised in Kalispell. James met the love of his life Carol, and soon after in 1981 the two married in Columbia Falls and together they would raise four sons.

James would work at Stoltz Lumber for the next 42 years, but his true passions were working on old cars, camping, traveling especially on water in various boats, though none of those meant a thing if he wasn’t spending time with his family.

James is proceeded in death by his parents, Lee, David, Joanne, Rose, Celia, Sally and Bea. He is survived by his loving wife Carol; Sons Brent (Brandi), Jason (Susan), Aaron (Mitzi), and Justin (Shawna); Brother Clarence; Sister Mary Ann; several Nieces and Nephews, 12 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.

Celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on January 8,2022 at Canvas Church. Reception to follow service at the Eagles in Kalispell.
