Jean (Sidle) Crofts passed away June 17, 2013 at Immanuel Lutheran Home in Kalispell, MT. Jean was born in Shelly, ID to Gwen and Lloyd Sidle on March 9, 1931. She went through the public school system and graduated from Shelly High School in 1949. In her high school years, she and her best friend Bonnie enjoyed going to dances, where she met her future husband, Dean Crofts.
Jean and Dean were married on December 28, 1949. Together they had five children, Ron, Terry, Randy, Kris and Steven. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother, with an infectious smile! She loved traveling with Dean, especially to Hawaii. Jean also treasured her family vacations, particularly to Island Park, Yellowstone, and Jackson WY.
Jean had a love for life, singing, dancing and whistling the entire way. She was amazingly strong of spirit and always up for an adventure!
Jean is survived by her husband Dean; her sons Ron, Randy, and Steven and Jean; her daughter Kris; her daughter-in-law, Leah; her grandchildren, Justin, Cory, Jadey, Cody, Kelsey, Tommy and Anna; and her sister Kay.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gwen and Lloyd Sidle; and her son, Terry.
A graveside service at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Missoula will be on Friday, June 21, at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at Dean's home, 5411 Iowa, Florence MT. Steven ( Jean ) Crofts
