Joe Daniel Gamma, age 52, passed away on Thursday December 16, 2010 at Hidden Meadows Ranch near Ashley Lake. Joe was born on January 2, 1958 in Kalispell, Montana to Frank and Hazel (Akrill) Gamma. He was raised at the homestead on Ashley Lake. He attended Marion Grade School, then graduating from Flathead High School.He married Dianne Enge, on February 17, 1984 at Ashley Lake. Joe spent many years in the oil fields, logging ,ranching and sawmill work. Being very self sufficient Joe could fix anything, which he truly enjoyed. Joe made his ranch available for military practice games and numerous other contributions. His hobbies included airplanes, machine work and being with his family even if it was through the telephone calls. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Hazel Gamma. He is survived by his wife Dianne (Enge) Gamma, children Ben, Danica (Alvin) Young and Mike and Jean, siblings, Sharon (Ernie) Walker of Alaska, Doug (Mary) Gamma of Ashley Lake, Shirley Gamma of Corvallis, Mt., grandchildren, Beth Young, Bowdrie Young and Brooklyn Young. Celebration of Joe's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday December 23, 2010 at the Flathead County Fair grounds.
