John McRell Biggs

John McRell Biggs, 88, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2023 in
Kalispell, Montana.
John was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and graduated from Princeton University
in June of 1956 with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He went on to
attend Naval Aviation Flight School in Pensacola, Florida. After leaving the
Navy John had several careers: Engineering, Sales, Real Estate
Development and several business enterprises. John loved baseball,
aviation, nature and had a strong musical appreciation and talent. He lived
in California from 1958-1983, Idaho from 1984-1990, Hawaii from
1990-2000. He eventually retired in the northwest United States spending
the latter part of his life in Idaho and then Montana until his passing.
John is predeceased by his father Burnard Biggs and mother Ruth.
Survivors include his son Rod Kovell and his wife,Tracey; grandson Alex
Kovell, his sister Jacqueline Churchill; Nephews, Todd Churchill and Clay
Churchill and their families.
John had an intense spirit and will be remembered by friends and family as
the person who always lived life on his terms.
