John Charles Torgison, age 60, passed away December 20, 2010 at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He survived many things but he couldn't beat the cancer. He worked for the Railroad, out of Whitefish, his entire working career. He loved to watch football and helping his children with projects when he visited them. He is survived by his wife Kay, mother Mary Torgison of Polson, brother Paul Torgison, sister in-law Colleen, nephews Adam, Eamonn, Logan, and niece Keely, of Polson. Son Rich daughter in-law Cissy, granddaughters Nitosha, Aspen and Charlee, of Washington. Son Mike, daughter in-law Teresa, grandson Loren, of Washington. Stepson Jerrad Smith, daughter in-law Karen, grandson Garrett, granddaughter Kaycee, of Arizona. Stepson, Cameron Smith, of Texas. There is no plan for services at this time. If you would like to do something in John's memory become a donor. His quality of life improved greatly when he received a kidney.
