Jonianita "Joni" Morelli, 52, of Kalispell, passed away March 29, 2014, at Kalispell Regional Medical Center after complications of lung cancer.
Joni was born Oct. 13, 1961, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Amulio Don and Kendra Morelli. She was raised in Anchorage and Berkeley, Calif., later attending college studying archeology, theology and physics.
Most recently she worked as a payroll specialist at a local call center.
Joni's wish was to be cremated and have her ashes travel to places she adored, which include Alaska, Hawaii and Glacier National Park.
She was preceded in death by her father, Amulio.
Joni is survived by her sons, Seth and Allen Cleland; daughters, Tessa and Sinjin Acuna, mother, Kendra Dixon; sister, Sinjin Morelli; and the many friends who loved her. But most of all, she leaves behind her beloved dog Maggie.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:30 p.m. today, April 4, at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home, with a potluck reception to follow.
