Joyce Marsh

Joyce Irene Marsh, loving mother, sister and friend & longtime resident of Polson, MT., passed away on January 22, 2019 in Kalispell at the age of 68. Joyce was married to the love of her life, James Marsh for 44 years. She loved and cared for him until his death in 2014. They both took great pride in their 2 boys and raised them to be great men.

Joyce loved to do so many things! She was an artist and poet, an avid gardener and was even involved in starting the farmers market in Polson so many years ago. She loved the outdoors, fishing, cross country skiing, garage saling & last but not least tinkering in her garage!

Joyce is survived by her two sons and their wives; Troy and Tawnya Marsh and grandson Chase, & Eric and Brooke Marsh as well as two of her siblings and their wives; Jerry and Betty Jones and Janet and Rob Thornburg.

Joyce touched the lives of so many people with her unique personality. She was loved by all who knew her and especially by those who understood her. She was a strong fighter in her battle against breast cancer & used her experience to help & encourage others to fight as well.

Joyce was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses along with her husband in Edmonton, Canada on July 28, 1978 and deeply treasured her relationship with her Heavenly Father. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Sat., Feb 9 at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses located at 37719 Commerce Dr., Polson, MT 59860
