Judith Netza, 79, passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at HealthCenter Northwest Hospice in Kalispell.
She was born Judith Charlott Smith on Dec. 18, 1933, in Burlington, Iowa, to Frederick "FJ" and Ruth Smith. Judy was an only child but spent many summers with her cousin Dick in Iowa whom she considered a brother.
Judy's family moved to California where she met the love of her life, Louis Netza. They were married on Dec. 17, 1950, and were never apart in their 63 years together. They had two daughters.
Judy fought a long battle with CREST Syndrome, an auto-immune disorder. She fought the hard fight and endured much, never complaining. Her greatest desire was to spend as much time as possible with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Louis Netza; her daughter, Stephanie Allen, and husband David; her grandchildren, Kelly Cuffe and husband Matt, Amanda Keeland and husband Eddy, Kirk Wilcox, and Jennifer Wilcox and partner Sarah; also great-grandchildren, Alana Keeland, Dawson Cuffe and Ramsey Cuffe.
Donations in her memory can be made to The Health Center Hospice at Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
