Kay Coleman

May 1, 1939 — February 26, 2025

Columbia Falls

Gently in her sleep, Kay Louise Coleman went to be with her Heavenly Father the evening of February 26th, 2025.

She was born in Cut Bank and later moved to the Flathead Valley. Known for her prowess as a teacher of doll-making, she invented designs that brought smiles to many children and grown-ups.

As a mother she taught her children that they could accomplish anything in life, if they set their mind and hands to it, and was always an encourager. She was the exemplar of forgiveness in teaching that the Heavenly Father forgave us, and if He forgives us, far be it from us to do less for others.

Even through difficult health challenges Kay was continually concerned about the needs of others, and most of all, that they eventually see her again in the Kingdom of Heaven. Her life is not just a dash mark between dates of birth and death, but a legacy of teaching others to love one another throughout the generations.

Bidding her a loving and respectful farewell are her beloved sister and brother-in-law Donna and David Jacobson, and her precious daughters Lynn and Maureen, three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her sons-in-law, and many cousins and friends who love her dearly.
