Keith Connors

July 13, 1943 — July 25, 2016

S. Keith Connors, 73, “arrived in the loving arms of our Lord” at his home on Monday, July 25, 2016, at 73 years old, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

He spent his life lovingly caring and providing for his family.

He was born July 13, 1943, in Seattle to Stanley J. and Doris Connors (now deceased). He had four siblings, Ken Connors, Don Connors, Floris Dyke and Doris Marie Palicz. The family settled and were raised in the Helena Flats area of the Flathead Valley. He graduated from Flathead County High School.

On Feb. 16, 1969, he married Dorothy Flansaas in Lakeside. They built a home together on the north side of Kalispell. Together they had three children, Vicki Bradley (Keven) of Cut Bank, Dan Connors (Shelly) of Maple Valley, Washington, and David Connors (Hollie) of Bozeman. He was a loving grandfather to his three grandchildren, Canon Connor Bradley, Camille Ann Bradley and Jonathan Keith Connors, who all loved his comedic spirit for life.

He spent his many working years as a sheet metal worker providing for his family wherever it took him — locally in the Flathead Valley, Alaska, Nevada, California and Oklahoma, just to name a few. His family always knew his love for them as he did whatever was needed to provide for them.

In December of 2011, Keith and Dorothy started attending Calvary Chapel Flathead Valley, where they found themselves right at home. They grew together in their faith in Jesus alongside their church family. The church has been a major support for them over the past five years. He loved to volunteer his skills, especially as the Fellowship Hall was being built.

His life will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, at Calvary Chapel Flathead Valley, 2395 Whitefish Stage Road, with a viewing prior to service from 11 a.m. to noon at Calvary Chapel. Burial at Glacier Memorial Gardens will follow the ceremony, with a reception after at Calvary Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Calvary Chapel Flathead Valley building fund.
