Kenneth Peterson

June 28, 1938 — January 2, 2022

Kenneth John Peterson, born June 28th, 1938, of Eureka, MT, rose to Heaven on January 2, 2022.

He was born to John and Alma "Veva" Peterson in Conrad, MT. The family moved to Eureka when Ken was a young boy. He graduated from Lincoln County High School in 1956.

Ken met and married Sharron (Kinney) Peterson in 1959. They were married 62 years. They had four boys, Raymond (Debra), Randy (Valorie), Ricky (Lisa) and Rocky. They had 11 Grandchildren, Jason

(Cecelia), Darren, Alicia (Travis) Bourassa, Miranda, Jeremey (Melissa), Chastyn, Tanner (Mandi), Dillon (Brianna), Jordan, Michael and Brynt and 15 Great Grandchildren. His family was everything to him and enjoyed each and every one.

Ken "Pete" was a man of many trades. He started as a Millworker right after high school then on to Logging. He later ran his own business of Road Construction with his Cat and Grader. He was also a Mechanic. He could fix anything (his way).

Ken was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle and great friend to many. He was a hard worker and loved helping others. He was a man of integrity. He had a servant's heart, very generous and kind always had a smile and loved to tease. We could go on and on.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, motor biking and snowmobiling. Anything in the great outdoors. His favorite place to be was up in the South Fork at the Log Landing camping, fishing and hunting. We are all sure up there in Heaven he has already shot that number 50 bull elk he wanted to get so bad. They had many family trips to WA, CA and Hyder, Alaska- fishing and crabbing. They took some of the grandsons along on the Alaska trips.

He was preceded in death by immediate family. Sons, Raymond and Rocky. Parents, John and Veva Peterson. Sisters, Delsena Frank and Alma Lanktree.

The Peterson family is very blessed and thankful of the outpouring of love and generosity through this great loss.

Services will be held January 15th, at 11:00 a.m., at the First Church of God, 1295 2nd Ave East, Eureka MT.
