Lawrence Periman

Lawrence Rawlin Periman, 70, passed away on Feb. 17, 2014.

He was born Jan. 17, 1944, in Missoula. He attended school in Drummond from 1950 to 1960.

He married Margorie Dendy on June 15, 1960.

While living in Drummond, Lawrence worked for Cominco Phosphate from 1962 to 1969. He moved to Flathead Valley to purchase a cedar fence mill which he operated for 36 years. He enjoyed fence work and running a small farm. Lawrence also enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Periman, in 1988.

He is survived by his wife, Margorie; sister, Barbara McOmber; children, Richard Daniel Periman, born April 15, 1960, and Christine Maree Benton, born Jan. 4, 1962; grandchildren, Zachary Breese, born May 8, 1982, Anthony Benton, born Aug. 28, 1986, and Alicia Benton-Coleman, born May 24, 1988; and great-grandchildren, Bruxsia Rayne Coleman, born Oct. 5, 2006, Riley Rose Benton, born April 30, 2008, and William David Lawrence Benton, born July 22, 2009.
