Lila Mae Christine Pritchard (Paulson)

Lila Pritchard of Cut Bank, Montana went to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan 13, 2019 at the age of 98. Lila was born Aug. 5, 1920  to Oliver and Lillian Paulson in Portland ND.  She was the oldest daughter in a family of 6 children, two older brothers Leroy and Phil Paulson, and 3 sisters, Margaret Averill, Ada Harlen and Fay Jamieson.

Lila moved to Chinook MT with her family at an early age where she graduated from Chinook High School in 1936 as Salutatorian.  Lila met and married Jess Pritchard of Malta MT in 1944 and they moved to Cut Bank MT. They had homes in East Glacier MT and Lake Havasu AZ which they thoroughly enjoyed.  They were married for 60 yrs when Jess died in 2004 at the age of 90.  They had four children.  Cheryl Kinder(Wayne) of Highlands Ranch CO, Zona Swenson(Jerry) of Cut Bank MT, Greg Pritchard (Jill) of Parker CO and Barry Pritchard (Dawn) of Somers MT.

Lila was active in her church and her community.  She enjoyed bridge, golf (making a hole in one), collecting antiques and pottery, digging sapphires, gardening (especially growing roses and peonies), painting, and teaching her grandchildren and great- grandchildren pitch and 4 kings. Her life centered around her family and faith.

Lila was preceded in death by her parents, sister Fay, and  brothers Leroy and Phil.  She is survived by her 4 children,  9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Prairie Peace Lutheran Church at 1:00 p.m.  on January 17, 2019.  Memorials may be sent to Prairie Peace Lutheran , 1 Alpine Avenue , Cut Bank, MT. or a charity of your choice. Friends are encouraged to visit our website at www.buffalohillfh.com to leave notes of condolences for the family.
