Linda Lee Fontecilla, 64, passed away on June 7, 2013.
She was born Feb. 13, 1949, in Yosemite, Calif. She was the daughter of Jack and Carol Romera.
She attended Washington High School. She met her husband, Hank, in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Growing up in California, the ocean always had a special place in her heart. Just two weeks before passing she was able to feel the waves and the sand upon her one last time.
Hank and Linda visited Bigfork, fell in love with it, and decided to make it their home.
Linda will be remembered for her love of the outdoors. She wanted to be a part of any activity that included adventure.
Throughout the years battling cancer she was a great inspiration and an example of grace, dignity, and strength to her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Cynthia Ann Hobbs.
Linda is survived by her husband, Hank Fontecilla; children, Tami Motsthman, Shere and Scott Ozegovich, Troy and Liz Fontecilla, and Rene and Trek Stephens; her parents, Jack and Carol Romera; and siblings, Diana and Rich Leland, and Jim and Shawna Romera; grandchildren, Kayla, Dustin, Mathew, Megan, Travis, Malia, Grant, Kirah, Isabel, Logan, Philip, Anna, Roman and Gabrielle.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. June 12 at Crossroads Christian Fellowship in Bigfork.
