Lodema Haley passed away July 20, 2013, in Kalispell.
Lodema was born May 23, 1922, in eastern Oklahoma (Seminole County) where her parents were farmers. She was the seventh of eight children born to Thomas Dixon Hooley and Mollie Shields Hooley.
She fondly recalled growing up on the farm and enjoyed the hard work of baling hay and stretching fence with her dad. Lodema played piano, rode horses and played basketball in her youth. As an adult she loved spending time outdoors, camping, and hiking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Haley; her son, Benson Netherton; her grandson, Dran Haley; and great-grandson, Connor Stevens; and all her siblings.
She is survived by her children, Paula McLellan and Dave of Polson, Gale Stevens and Craig of Kalispell, Ted Haley of Kalispell, and Michael Haley and Bonnie of Palmer, Alaska; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She will be sorely missed by her family.
