On September 10, 2015, our loving and beautiful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Loretta Agnes Buller, left this world to begin her next chapter. She spent the final two years of her life in the Memory Care Unit at Heritage Place in Kalispell, Montana. With a healed body and soul, she joins her husband and son who rejoice at the gates of Heaven. Our grief is great but we celebrate their unity.
Loretta was born October 26, 1937 in Glendive, Montana. On April 15, 1954, she married her life partner and soul mate, Oscar Buller. They began their life’s journey in the Richey/Bloomfield area in a quaint farming community. They raised five respectful and hard working children, and enjoyed many years watching them enrich their lives.
In 1982, they ventured to the Flathead Valley to experience the mountains. They fell in love with the area, and it soon became their second home. In 1984 Loretta earned her Certified Nursing Aide degree from Flathead Valley Community College and went to work at North Valley Extended Care until it’s closure in 2002. During her career, she was awarded the Florence Nightingale Award for her service and dedication to patient care and genuine desire to be of help to the ailing. She enjoyed her work immensely.
Loretta is survived by her four children, Donald and Maureen Buller; Donna and Kevin Kramer; Delmer and Marianne Buller; and Dixie and Greg Post; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Lois and Cheryl, and a brother, Butch. She is preceded in death by her mother, Edith and father, Emmett; her son Dale in 1989; her husband, Oscar in 1997; and a sister, Elsie in 2013.
The family would like to thank the CNA’s, nurses, and all those who worked to ensure that Loretta lived happily in the final years of her life. Visitation will be held on Monday September 14, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held Tuesday September 15, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Buffalo Hill Funeral Home with burial to follow at Glacier Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Friends and family are encouraged to visit our website at www.buffalohillfh.com to leave notes of condolences. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.
