Margaret Inez (Jenks) Ohs, 82, was born March 8, 1933, in Columbus, Georgia.
She “went home to the Lord” on Sunday, March 6, 2016, with her family by her side.
She grew up in the South and loved her trips back to see her family and the farm.
Peggy served the military in the Women’s Army Corps (WACS) and was honorably discharged in 1954.
She worked as a licensed practical nurse in the valley for 35 years.
Her hobbies included growing tropical orchids and playing the classical organ.
She also loved to spoil her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, David Ohs.
Peggy is survived by their three sons, Jim and Carolyn, Kim and Cecelia, and Rick and Joan; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Peggy is happily “reunited with the Lord and her sweet David,” and her family is mourning her loss but celebrating her life and love.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
Cards and condolences may be directed to Buffalo Funeral Home in Kalispell.
