Mark Street

January 14, 1965 — September 28, 2015

Mark E. Street passed away Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, at his home in Kalispell with his family by his side.

Mark was born Jan. 14, 1965, in Kalispell to Clifford and Margaret Street. He spent most of his years growing up in Marion and McGregor Lake where he found his tremendous love for the outdoors — he felt closest to the Lord in his times spent in nature. Being an avid outdoorsman, he looked for every opportunity to go hunting, fishing or just drive to the mountains, and loved to share his stories of every adventure.

He had a gift for music and enjoyed playing guitar and singing with friends and family.

Mark worked most of his life as an equipment operator in both logging and road construction, along with countless hours spent on mechanics with his brothers — a talent they learned from their father Cliff.

He was preceded in death by his father Clifford Street, and sister Cheryl Ann Street.

Mark is survived by his mother, Margaret Street; his wife and best friend of the past 17 years, Sheri Sakariason, and their two children, Dakota Sakariason and Kendall Street; former wife, Shannon Street, and their two daughters, Brianna Street and Lacy Swan, and a daughter Heather Woodring, all of Kalispell; brothers, Ronald Street of Libby, Darrell and Brian Street of Kalispell, and Ray Street of Whitefish; sisters, Joan Steiner of Kalispell, Arlene Street of Marion, and Sandy Samples of Columbia Falls; granddaughters, Alyssa Street and Sierra Swan of Kalispell; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Other friends and family include Doug Steiner, Mike Jensen, John and Tamra Tveit, Howard and Sheryl Essex, Derrek Brooks, Misty Young; and his second families at Ready Freddy, Second Helpings and Flathead Food Bank; along with many others too numerous to mention.

Private services will be held.

Buffalo Hill Funeral Home is caring for the family.
