Miranda L. Martinez, age 20, known to all that loved her as "Panda Bear" was carried home by her Guardian Angels on April 2, 2016, in her home surrounded by her Dad, Mom, and "second mom" big sister Hannah. Panda was loved immensely by her family from the day she was born November 24, 1995 in Williston, North Dakota. Her family moved to Flathead Valley when she was just 1 year old. She attended Glacier Gateway, then on to Columbia Falls Junior High and graduated from Columbia Falls High School on June 6, 2014. She loved all of her teachers and therapists who helped her through many obstacles to make this wonderful accomplishment in her life a reality. Panda loved the little things in life that we tend to over look in our earthly cares, she loved the sound of music, especially her sister singing to her almost daily, her dad playing his native flute, her mom listening to worship music, she loved watching her movies, listening to us read, talk, and laugh. She loved her meal times with her family as we always sat together, she loved that tradition. Panda loved watching the leaves on trees clap together as the wind gently blew past them, she loved gazing towards the heavens no matter how we tried to get her to look towards us, she never lost focus of where her home truly was... Miss Miranda was a joy to all who w ere privileged to have met her. She was pure and innocent in every way; her giggles, chuckles and smile sent sunshine into our hearts that took any clouds away from a tough day. Panda was an exceptional young lady who could go through the worst that life threw at her in every physical form and yet she was able to smile through it. She never went a day in her life without kisses, hugs, cuddles and love affirmations from her family. The 20 years we were blessed with her seemed way to short but in that time she taught us patience beyond measure, love we never dreamed of giving, moments together that we will always cherish and hold dear to our hearts. We asked God many times to make her whole but God said 'No" . He said her spirit was whole, her body was temporary. She taught us all what pure love was through the eyes of God. Our Panda was never a burden but a blessing from above. Go honored us by sending us one of his special angels to be the teacher that we needed so badly in our lives. We were a jigsaw puzzle that she helped bring together for she was the glue that helped us to stick together. Our Angel Teacher did not have wings, but nothing compares to the love that she brought to us. Our little Angel couldn't walk or talk, but as time flies fast she raced the clock, our little angel won't be little for long but our angel will never be gone. Psalms 30:5 "...weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." Panda was preceded in death b y her Grandma Edna Gray Hawk, uncle Kenneth Gray Hawk, auntie Maude Kirn and special cousin Felony Swan, whom all were waiting to welcome her into heaven.
