Nancy P. Burns, 61, of Columbia Falls, MT passed away on Friday April 14 th in her home. She was born on October 7, 1955 in Washington DC.
She was survived by her husband Don Burns, daughter Amanda Carlson, son Joshua Blackburn, step-daughters Emily Stone, Donna Martinsen, and Monica Mendive and foster son Brian Bostwick. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and her brother William Polsgrove.
Nancy had several careers in her life, ranging from teaching, screen printing and working as a CNA. Her passion was her family. She was an avid gardener and loved to cook large family meals. She loved having a full house and a dinner table full of friends, family and great food. She was passionate about volunteering for Spay Neuter clinics and loved her pets, and believed you could never have too many furry friends.
A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, May 6 th , 4:30-7 pm at the Montana Veteran’s Home Columbia Falls in the old chapel .
